How do I make 1 on 1 meetings?

To make 1 on 1's more productive, we use this model where the led person pre-fills and uses the meeting to discuss details with the leadership and create an action plan to keep evolving.

The 1 on 1 meeting is divided into 3 agendas, I usually divide the time equally between them:

  1. Business Updates
  2. Professional development
  3. Next week's expectations and Action Plan

To prepare your 1 on 1, use the content below as a template to prepare for the meeting and share your document with your leader.
